Weather: The rain came sooner than expected this year, so we had several days of heavy rain during the week.
Temperature: Between 31° and 38°C during the day and 20°C to 26°C at night.
Water Temperature: 30°C
Xingu River Conditions: The water level of the Xingu River is stable and its color is clear. The tributaries still have low water levels with great clarity as well.
Fishing Conditions:
The water levels and temperatures made fishing even harder than the week before. But through the hard work of our anglers and guides, the river provided the peacock bass, matrinxã, and pacus we were looking for after the rain. Here lies the very important reminder to always have a rod rigged up with a #6 terrestrial pattern, always at the ready!
