Weather: The weather was sunny and stable in our first week with breezes blowing from 10 AM to 6 PM, having some windy afternoons on some of the days later on in the week.
Temperature: 32-35C
Water Temperature: 31-32C
River Conditions: The water level of Xingu river is extremely low and the water color is super clear.
Fishing Conditions: A lot of good Peacock Bass were caught on the main river, while the streams showed very low water levels. Despite this, wolf fish were found in solid numbers and were brought to hand. We caught a few Payaras in deeper pools, but the group’s main focus this week was to capture a variety of species.
